Today’s Bake: White Tin Bread

A load of bread on a wooden cutting board. It's partially sliced, with the slices lying to the side on the right. The serrated silver blade of a bread knife lies in front. Another uncut loaf is visible in the background.

Today’s bake followed Paul Hollywood’s recipe for white tin bread. I’ve made it before, and it’s a great simple loaf (easy enough for an amateur like me to manage).

It made great grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner, as well as being great with butter and jam.

Two squarish loaves of bread on a wire cooking rack.

You can’t see in the image, but both loaves tore a bit as they rose in the oven, so I probably need to slash a bit deeper next time. I’m still figuring out that bit.

It was delicious nonetheless.
